Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (Funcom) is an online action-RPG with a mix of a deep, story-driven single-player experience and massive and brutal multiplayer end game, bringing to life the ultimate representation of the Age of Conan.

	AGE OF EMPIRES III Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs is the new expansion pack for the best-selling real-time strategy (RTS) title of 2005, Age of Empires III from Ensemble Studios and Microsoft Game Studios. Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs will engage gamers of all ages and types in epic warfare in the Americas where they will lead the proud, playable native civilizations to expand their empire and fight for control of the Americas.
	AGE OF EMPIRES III Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties is the upcoming second expansion pack to the award-winning Age of Empires III being developed by Ensemble Studios, developer of Age of Empires III; and Big Huge Games, developer of Rise of Nations. Besides the New World, players will now be able to play in Asia as well. The three Asian civilizations will have 15 new wonders, which will be the equivalent of aging up for the European civilizations.
	ALAN WAKE Alan Wake (Microsoft Game Studios) is a psychological action thriller from Remedy Entertainment Ltd. Cited as one of the best titles of E3 2005, Alan Wake introduces a deeply engaging and suspenseful story line in a free-roaming open world that invites players to unravel the riveting plot and experience intense combat that combines the use of light with more conventional weapons.
	ALONE IN THE DARK
	BATTLEFIELD 2142 Battlefield 2142: Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech weaponry, including assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also take control of the most lethal vehicles known to man. 	HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC Heroes of Might and Magic: It's been years since the last game in the illustrious Heroes of Might and Magic series. In that time, New World Computing, the venerable developer of the Heroes games as well as the Might and Magic role-playing series it spun off from, shuttered its doors. So the fate of subsequent Heroes games became uncertain at best, until publisher Ubisoft announced that it nabbed the rights to the Might and Magic brand last year. Then the question became one of quality. With development reins now in the hands of Moscow-based Nival Interactive, was there any chance that the next Heroes of Might and Magic could stack up to its predecessors? Apparently, yes.

	RISE OF NATIONS: RISE OF LEGENDS High expectations are a curse. While everybody envies developers who make games as great as Rise of Nations, nobody envies them when sequel time comes around. And you can really see why with Rise of Legends. Big Huge Games' follow-up to its instant classic from 2003 is a pretty good RTS, but it is also an awfully familiar one that doesn't bring anything new to the table aside from some snazzy new graphics, a few rule tweaks, and a quirky storyline with three oddball races. After a dozen hours or so of the campaign and noodling around online, the novelty vanishes...along with a fair number of the compelling reasons to keep playing the game.
	RISE OF THE ARGONAUTS Rise of the Argonauts: An epic scale action-RPG, Rise of the Argonauts immerses gamers in a gladiatorial adventure set in wondrously imagined vision of ancient Greece. With deep exploration and epic quests, players live a life of brutal combat as they lead a team of iconic warriors -- including Jason, Hercules and Atalanta -- through a world ruled by mythological gods.
	ROGUE WARRIORS Rogue Warriors: Rogue Warrior is a story-driven shooter that provides team-based tactical combat set in massive, contiguous levels using Unreal 3 streaming technology. Central to the game's single and multiplayer experience is the idea of a freeform battlefield, where players are given the freedom to choose how to complete a given objective.

It is a multiplayer, FPS that propels team-based combat into a new dimension with a revolutionary blend of modern weaponry and ancient magic. Shadowrun will be available when Windows Vista is launched.
	THE SHIP Cross-genre games typically take a walk on the mild side. You usually get something to the order of role-playing-game leveling up in a real-time strategy game, real-time-strategy combat in a role-playing game, or maybe a few adventure-style puzzles in a shooter. Generally, the more a developer hypes hybrid gameplay, the more predictable the game itself is likely to be. But that's not the case with The Ship, a Steam-distributed game for the Source engine formerly available as a free Half-Life mod.
	SIN EPISODES Sin Episodes: One of the most highly anticipated first-person shooters of 1998 was SiN, which promised to combine the action movie feel of Duke Nukem 3D with the impressive technology behind Quake, together with an original storyline. But a game called Half-Life appeared practically without warning at around the same time, stole SiN's thunder, and blew away all other competition. Now, in some sort of demi-miracle straight out of a romantic comedy but with games instead of people, SiN and Half-Life are finally together, in a way.

	STAR WARS EMPIRE AT WAR Star Wars Empire at War: Return to the popular Star Wars universe with Lucas Arts Star Wars: Empire at War for the PC, the first real-time strategy game set in the popular world of Yoda, Luke, and the Force. Set a few years before Star Wars: A New Hope, the game explores the creation of the Rebel Alliance and the Empire's struggle to keep its iron grip on the universe.
	STRANGLEHOLD Stranglehold Chow Yun–Fat reprises the role of Inspector Tequila from John Woo's influential action film, "Hard Boiled" in this hyperkinetic shooting game. Run into danger with both fists full of lead and take down the organized crime bosses who stepped over the line when they took your family. Stop at nothing as you destroy the entire world around you to get them back. You are a desperate man following your own rules; honor thy family; do what's right; fear no man. Stranglehold features much of the hyperkinetic, choreographed action and freeze framed sequences that Woo is known for.
